Arrow safety is always important

Safety is always first in archery, especially for arrows.
Arrows are made out of many different materials, they can be made out of aluminium, fibreglass, wood or carbon fibre. But regardless of what material they're made out of, all arrows can be damaged through use and impact with other arrows or a variety of objects. Arrows may be damaged by impacts with objects like trees, rocks, hard terrain, metal, etc and by misuse such as improper maintenance and abuse. They can even be damaged by hitting each other (robin hooding).
Below is a link to Safe Arrow, a website dedicated to addressing archers how to shoot safely and how to check for damaged arrows. There is also a video which is worth having a look at.
Safearrow.com is run by Carbon Express, however all information applies to all arrows, regardless of brand.
